What we text

• Replies when you text us: one automatic reply, then answers about your inquiry.
• Consultation confirmation: one text confirming an in-home consultation you booked by phone, only if you said yes.
• Order and installation: a sign-up confirmation right after you tick the optional box on your purchase agreement, then one text with a link on book.boutiqueshutters.com to pick your installation time when your order is ready.

1. When you text us

Our website lists 770-404-9347 as "Call or Text" with this notice:

2. When you book by phone

After you book an in-home consultation with our automated phone assistant, it reads this question word for word:

Would you like Boutique Shutters and Shades to text a confirmation of this appointment to the number you're calling from? This is one text per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out at any time. Our terms and privacy policy are at boutiqueshutters.com/terms and boutiqueshutters.com/privacy. Please say yes or no, or press 1 for yes or 2 for no.

If you say yes (or press 1) it replies: "Great, we'll text your confirmation to this number now." If you say no, press 2, or don't answer, it replies: "No problem, we won't text you." and nothing is sent. We keep a record of your answer, the date and time, and your number. The confirmation reads:

Boutique Shutters & Shades: Hi [Name]! Your in-home consultation is confirmed. When: [day], between [time window]. Where: [address]. Interested in: [products]. 3. On your purchase agreement

When you sign your purchase agreement in person on our tablet, you confirm the mobile number shown and can tick a separate, optional box. It is unchecked until you tick it yourself, our staff cannot tick it for you, and you can sign without it:

Our website quote and estimate forms are not a text-message sign-up. We follow up on those requests by phone call or email, and we do not text numbers submitted there.

Help and opting out

Reply HELP for our contact details. Reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or just tell us to stop texting) to stop all texts; we confirm once and send nothing further unless you reply START.
